Course Detail

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology(DMLT)

A medical laboratory Technician (MLT) can work in Diagnostic labs, Doctor’s offices and hospitals. He / She perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.

Job Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples for testing.
• Examine and analyze bodily fluids.
• Includes chemistry, hematology, urinanalysis and immunology.
• Ensure quality control.
• Ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.

Age Limit

The candidate should be between 15-35 years (for women and handicapped up to 45 years) of age, on or before 1st October of current year.

Academic Qualification & Eligibility

• General & OBC – Senior Secondary (10+2) (PCB/PCM) or equivalent with 45% marks.
• SC/ST - Senior Secondary (10+2) (PCB/PCM) or equivalent with 40% marks.
