In order to provide real time exposure of Food and Dairy technology and Dairy microbiology subjects, The students of our institute visited Jaipur Dairy Plant, Jaipur on October, 11, 2018. In total 28 students of M.Sc. Microbiology semester III and 47 students of B.Sc. Biotechnology III year students visited the Dairy and learned about various dairy procedures including milk collection, various types of milk’s production, packaging, storage etc. As well as students get to know about the various products that have been developed by the milk like ghee, cheese, paneer, yoghurt, ice-cream etc.
At last students visited the waste treatment plant that has been set up by Jaipur dairy itself to treat the waste that has been generated by the processing of milk.
