  • TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

    A Tree Plantation Drive have been organized by Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology and all the faculty & staff members and students participated in the event.
    The plants were planted by the employees around the college premises and were labeled for identification by placing their name plates. Each plant was allotted to employee for maintenance and nourishment throughout the year. Bright students from the college, who were academic toppers were also given an opportunity to plant the trees & participate in the tree plantation drive.

  • MILAP 2016

    Welcoming fresher’s is the most amazing part of college life. With this notion Dr. B. Lal Institute Of Biotechnology organizes the fresher’s party MILAP every year. This year the day was celebrated on 10th September 2016. The occasion was marked by gracious presence of Mrs. SUMAN SHARMA, Chairperson Rajasthan Women Commission.
    The evening started with beautiful Ganesh Vandana performance and welcome speech by the students of second year. The evening was glorified by various group dances and group songs that electrified the party and took it to another level. The static dance & skits were performed by students which is the most enjoyable part.
    The Mr. and Miss fresher contest was another enlightment of the event, the students who bagged from the fresher from B.Sc. Biotech Part I were Hemant Kumar Verma and Ashwini Patgaonkar and for M.Sc Microbiology/ Biotechnology Previous year were Gajendra Sharma and Jayana Rajvanshi. After the crowning session the DJ beats made the evening for the students even more enjoyable and memorable.

  • BIOCHROME 2017- - ‘Innovate, Create, Celebrate’

    Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology had a fun filled thrilling week with the tri day intercollegiate fest BIOCHROME 2017 held from Jan 19-21st January 2017. The event witnessed participants from colleges all across Jaipur. The event was collection of cultural and technical competitions bound together with a string of fun and joy. In the first two days, the campus was thrilled by the research temperament in Oral and Poster presentation, cherished by the aroma of veggie art- Salad Decoration, heated up by the pitched voices at Debate and Nukkad Natak competition, delighted by the storming minds at Bio-Quiz and Bio-puzzle competition, blossomed by the beautiful Flower arrangement competition and elated by the colors at Streax, Rangoli, T- shirt painting and face painting competitions. The third day was a grand celebration at Jankidevi Public School Auditorium which marked two grand events of Biochrome 2017 namely Footloose-Group Dance Competition and Fashion Raga and also the valedictory ceremony. The chief guest for the evening was Dr. Digambar Singh and Guest of Honour was Dr. K. P. Sharma. The prizes were given away by our Chief Guest, Guest Of Honor and our Director, Dr. B. Lal Gupta which added more colors to the event. The three fun filled days were made more exciting by our sponsors and we heartily thanks them for their support.

    Antibiotic Resistance – Current Trends & Challenges.

    One Day National Workshop on Antibiotic Resistance-Current Trends and Challenges was organized by Dr. B. Lal. Institute of Biotechnology in association with Centre for Innovation, Research and Development, at Dr. B. Lal Clinical Laboratory Pvt. Ltd. Jaipur in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology, Rajasthan. The Guest Speakers were Dr Rajni Singh Additional Director & Head of the Institute and Professor in Amity Institute of Microbial Biotechnology, Dr. Ekadashi Rajni Sabharwal Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, College of Medical Sciences, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), special invite Mr. Rahul Raina (Sr. Application specialist (bacteriology) Biomerieux India). The workshop offered a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experimental time to understand Antibiotic Resistance – Current Trends & Challenges from experts in the field

  • UDAAN - 2017

    Fly high, fly up, fly to reach the sky of success…..
    With this thought Dr. B. Lal Institute of biotechnology has bidden goodbye to another batch of B.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. Biotechnology in the form of a UDAAN- THE FAREWELL on 10th March 2017. The event this time had a unique, appraising theme namely ‘Aviation’. The Chief Guest of the occasion was MR. P. K. BHARGAVA, Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Uttrakhand Government and the special guest for the evening were DR. SHILPI BHARGAVA a renowned Dental Surgeon and DR. SAURAV BHARGAVA, Chief Consultant at Neuro Anesthesia and Neuro Intensive Care.
    The event was filled with dances, Melodious song performance, skit, felicitation of the seniors along with tag lines, customized diaries and songs reflecting their characteristic features. The cultural program was ended with vote of thanks given by seniors and an emotional video prepared by them depicting their journey in this campus. tne students who bagged the Mr. & Miss Farewell contest were Mr. Sudesh Singh and Ms. Chandrika Mittal, from M.Sc. Final year and Mr. Abhishek Kumar and Ms. Kirti Agarwal from B.Sc. Biotechnology Final year.

  • BIOFIESTA - Biotechniques for New Born Scientist

    Practical experience is must in the field of science. To bring skilled scientists into society, Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology has hosted scientific workshops in collaboration with Department of Science & Technology, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur to train and equip the students of class 11th and 12th (Biology and Biotechnology) of various schools in Jaipur. The workshop included hands on training in various techniques in molecular biology, microbiology, environment biotechnology and biochemistry.
